Green Drinks–Recycling, Composting, and Waste Q&A

February 16 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Why is your paint and your window cleaner not wanted at a hazardous waste event?

What? I can recycle batteries and paint???

What will you do with your vehicle or e-bike battery when it dies?

What’s a “non-covered” electronic?

Why aren’t you recycling your Styrofoam?

Have you given up on sorting your food scraps? If so, what will you say to the Vice Squad when they knock on your door?

Who calls the shots about what I can recycle and why should I believe them?

Ham Gillett will answer all of these questions and ask if you recycled your Valentine’s Day chocolate wrappers at our monthly Green Drinks series. Ham is the Outreach Coordinator for the Greater Upper Valley and Southern Windsor/Windham Counties solid waste management districts.

Join us to ask questions, air your frustrations, or maybe even learn something. Submit your questions ahead of time or ask them on the spot.
