Do you live in Northwestern Vermont and want to help your town and community save energy, reduce climate impacts, and save money on energy bills?
Please join us for the Northwest Vermont Regional Energy Forum to learn how town energy committees are making a difference in Vermont and how to start an energy committee in your town.
When: Thursday, April 19th – 5:30 PM to 8 PM
Where: St. Albans City Hall, St. Albans, Vermont
The forum will feature:
- An overview on the role of energy committees, how to start one in your community, and a sampling of energy projects around the state
- Sharing of resources available to help communities
- Sharing of success stories from energy committee leaders
- Break-out sessions to allow individuals from various towns to meet and organize
This regional energy forum is co-sponsored by the Northwest Regional Planning Commission, Vermont Energy and Climate Action Network (VECAN), and Efficiency Vermont.
Food will be provided starting at 5:30 PM, and the forum will begin at 6 PM. There is no cost to attending this event.
While RSVP is not required, we appreciate you letting us know if you can attend so that we can get a sense of how much food to order.
