Network and Communications
VECAN aims to serve as an information clearinghouse for the more than 100 town energy committees across the state; connecting and communicating in a variety of ways in an effort to support and strengthen action-oriented grassroots energy action. Stay connected and collaborate with us and other local energy innovators by:
Receiving VECAN’s Newsletter:
Via our VECAN newsletter, we regularly communicate about timely programs, policy updates, funding opportunities, energy innovation success stories and far more. Be sure you and other members of your energy committee — or you as an energy-interested Vermonter — receive our VECAN newsletter. That way you can stay abreast of resources, events, policies or programs to support your work. We only send our E-News 2-3 times a month, so be sure to sign up today!
Connecting Vermont’s Energy Committees:
VECAN’s website is a clearinghouse of information targeted to support the priorities of Vermont’s growing network of all-volunteer energy committees. And, via our website, we want to ensure we maintain a current list of energy committees across the state as a way to help foster energy committee collaborations, information-sharing and networking or to connect your committee to potentially helpful programs or partners. Please help us make this work! It can be challenging to keep this list current, so please help us ensure your committee’s information is up-to-date. If it is not, please send us an email with updated information to: [email protected].
Sharing Success Stories:
We often share success stories of Vermonters who have undertaken energy-saving, clean energy generating efforts. And we want to continue to tell those stories. Do you have a story to share? Let us know! Email [email protected] or call 802-223-2328 x 118. We’d love to hear about it, write about and share it widely to our networks — and on the Vermont Community Energy Dashboard.
Following and Sharing Our Social Media:
We try to keep our finger on the pulse of interesting and timely news and opportunities and often share that through social media. Please follow us on Facebook and Twitter and share our information and news on social media with your networks! Connect here:
