Come out of your winter hibernation for a fully supported gravel grinder covering (almost) all of the amazing dirt roads Central Vermont has to offer. It’s not easy, but it’s definitely worth it. This year we will have three loops; a short loop (about 20 miles) for those who are just getting their bike legs under them, our classic long loop (about 40 miles), and an even longer loop (about 55 miles) for those of you who just couldn’t get enough of the mud last year. We promise all loops will give you plenty of dirt, fun, and cow sightings.
Mass start for all loop distances and all categories: 9:30am.
As always, we will have a fully-stocked aid station with everything you could ever hope for while out on an April gravel ride with all of your friends. This is a ride, *not a race* to celebrate mud, community and bikes – three things we love! Well… maybe not the mud.
Not riding but looking for other ways to join the fun? Come volunteer! We are seeking enthusiastic community members to help us run a smooth, fabulous event! Check out the volunteer tasks here and sign up for a shift!
This year the Muddy Onion falls on Earth Day and the event is looking to lower its carbon footprint more so than in past years.
What does that mean for riders?
