VECAN Webinar: Communicating Climate – Moments and Memes
In this March 12, 2019 webinar, Michael Shank continued his series on communicating about climate, focusing on identifying ideal moments to speak up and how memes can be an effective tool to get the message out. With the recent release of the Energy Action Network’s Annual Report about Vermont’s greenhouse gas emissions and climate commitments, we discussed strategies for effectively conveying these key findings in your communities. Michael Shank serves as the Communications Director for the Carbon Neutral Cities Alliance and serves on the Brandon Energy Committee, and was the keynote speaker at last year’s Vermont Energy and Climate Action Network (VECAN) Conference.
